Connie's career as a nationally recognized artist began in the early 1970's when she started teaching workshops and seminars both nationally and and in her studio. She authored 4 painting instruction books which have sold out. At this time she started entering and showing in professionally juried shows and exhibitions.
Color, light, mood and atmosphere are of major importance in her work, Connie has became known for her luministic landscapes. She capitalizes on sunrises and sunsets. Autumn with all its joyful, warm and luscious colors is her favorite season to paint. Her faith plays a big part in her life and in her art.
