« A Breath of Fresh Country Air | Main | "The Pathway of Life" »
"Autumn's Hidden Sanctuary"
by Connie Tom on 8/12/2008 9:22:11 AM

I love the vibrant and cheerful colors of autumn and I love the country and the woods. Sometimes when I walk out into the woods maybe to get an image to paint, I am amazed again at the hand of God in His creation! At the colorful and mighty oaks and sugar maples. When there's a breeze blowing through the tops of the trees, it seems I'm offered a thousand paintings all at once. I am so thankful to be an artist and for His kindness and mercies toward me.

"Behold, the LORD thy God hath set the land before thee; go up and possess it, as the LORD God of thy fathers hath said unto thee; fear not, neither be discouraged." ~ Deuteronomy 1:21.

Love this!! Are you going to paint it?? (Everytime I see something that moves me like that I want to try to paint it.... Nothing can duplicate what was already created however... the photos and paintings only serve as reminders...
Isn't nature wonderful??
