Lanterns of Gold
"Lanterns of Gold"

Oil on Canvas
This painting pictures a morning in the autumn woods just after a rain. As the sun is coming out, it glistens from off of the water droplets still clinging to the leaves like lanterns of gold.... hence the title. I hope you enjoy this painting as much as I enjoyed painting it.

Good Morning on the Lake
"Good Morning on the Lake"

Oil on canvas
Sunrises and sunsets are my very favorite times of the day because they generally have the most dramatic lighting and beautiful colors. I also love to paint water because it reflects those beautiful colors in the sky. There is something about being around the water... whether it's oceans, lakes, streams or rivers that just takes you away from the everyday busyness of life. I hope you enjoy this painting as much as I enjoyed painting it.
